Raider Connect serves as the official safety application for Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC), distinguishing itself as the sole app that synchronizes with the institution's safety and security infrastructures. Designed with input from Public Safety, this application aims to enhance the safety of students, faculty, and staff within the NWFSC campus environment. It offers crucial safety alerts and immediate access to essential safety resources.

The features of Raider Connect include:

• Emergency Contacts: Facilitate communication with appropriate services for both emergency and non-emergency situations in the NWFSC area.
• Panic Button / Mobile Bluelight: Enable real-time location sharing with NWFSC security during a crisis.
• Tip Reporting: Provide multiple avenues to report safety or security concerns directly to NWFSC security.
• Virtual WalkHome: Allow Public Safety to monitor an individual’s walk if they feel unsafe on campus. Users can request this service, whereby a dispatcher will oversee their journey until they arrive at their destination.
• Safety Toolbox: A collection of tools designed to bolster personal safety within a single app.
  • Notification History: Access past push notifications along with their corresponding dates and times.
  • Share Map with your Location: Send your location to a friend via a map of your position.
  • I’m OK!: Communicate your location and a message confirming that you are safe to a designated recipient.
• Campus Map: Navigate effectively throughout the NWFSC area.
• Emergency Plans: Access campus emergency documentation that prepares users for potential disasters or emergencies, even offline.
• Safety Notifications: Receive real-time updates and instructions during on-campus emergencies from NWFSC safety personnel.
